Deployment Journal
This is the Journal I kept during my deployment to Iraq in 2003 to 2004. I started out writing it longhand in spiral notebooks, but about midway through I was tired of writing and found that I could type much faster and get more written. Later I went back and typed some of what I had already written and was able to add details that I still remembered. Obviously there are some months missing - it's still a work in progress. I'm pretty sure I have scans of all of the pages somewhere, when I find them I'll post them. Despite the fact that there was a war going on, the deployment was mostly boring with brief periods of activity - which is reflected in these pages.
I'm also working through a formatting problem with the pages.
